Marron Pellets

A diet designed for extensive culture of Marron (Cherax tenuimanus). The diet has been designed to minimise feed cost, relying on some of the known nutritional requirements originating from the pond system.

Feeding rate will depend on water temperature and size of the marron, in addition to the expected feed intake from the pond system. Total intake is normally in the range of 1.5-3% of biomass weight/day. More details recommendations can be provided. Do not overfeed. For intensive culture systems please seek professional advice.

This pellet is manufactured in a steam pellet plant as a 4mm diameter pellet, and packed in 20kg bags. Pellets sink in water with limited water stability. Ingredients may include Wheat, Lupins, Fish Meal, Barley, Oats, Fish Oil, Vegetable Oil, Meat Meal, Blood Meal, and a Vitamin & Mineral Premix. This diet contains the antioxidants Ethoxyquin at 0.12 grams/KG.
