Premium Layer Pellets
Premium Layer is a nutritionally balanced feed that has been specifically designed for laying hens to support maintenance, good egg production and bird health. This complete feed is suitable for commercial layer breeds such as Isa Brown, Hyline and all other laying hens.
Premium Layer Pellets provide:
- A nutrient dense feed to support good egg production.
- 16% crude protein with balanced amino acids to support good egg production and egg size.
- A vitamin and trace mineral premix to meet the requirements of the laying hen.
- Additives to support optimal yolk colour.
Premium Layer Pellets have been pelletised to minimise selective feeding, wastage of feed and reduce bacterial contamination.
Feed Premium Layer from the point of lay (around 17 to 18 weeks of age) until the end of the laying cycle. Hens should be provided with unrestricted access to Premium Layer. Hens can be expected to consume between 100g to 130g per bird per day depending on the size of the hen, egg production, housing, and environmental conditions. As Premium Layer is a balanced and complete feed, table scraps are not required for good production. However, if feeding table scraps in conjunction with Premium Layer, then for the best results, Premium Layer should make up the majority of the daily feed that the hen consumes. Premium Layer is not designed for chicks or young pullets below the age of 16 weeks.
- This product contains restricted animal material – DO NOT FEED TO CATTLE, SHEEP, GOATS, DEER OR ANY OTHER RUMINANTS. TO BE FED TO LAYERS ONLY.
- This product is best stored under cool and dry conditions and used within 6 months of production date.
- It is important to ensure good quality, clean water is always available and that troughs are cleaned daily.

Western Grains Premium Poultry Blend is a highly digestible blend of premium grains, designed to be fed to poultry via feeders that are protected from the weather. Ensure good quality, clean, fresh water is available and accessible at all times.
Vitamins and minerals should not be added to this poultry mix as it has been prepared by our experienced team using a balanced formula.
